Hi there! I’m Kristy, the heart behind MWE. My passion for weddings and events started with my studies in Events and Venues Management and Business, leading me to work as the venue manager for one of the Sunshine Coast’s most iconic DIY wedding venues. After two wonderful years in that role, I launched MWE in 2018 with a vision: to provide couples with an experienced wedding planner and wedding coordinator they could trust.
It didn’t take long to realize that couples were looking for convenience and seamless service, so we expanded to offer wedding styling and wedding hire services across the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Noosa, and beyond. Today, we also provide styling and hire for special occasions and corporate events, making every celebration stress-free and stunning.

My husband, Scott, joined the business as our warehouse manager and delivery expert, ensuring everything arrives on time and in perfect condition. Our two teenage daughters help during the busiest seasons, making sure every item is cleaned, counted, and stocked. And when it’s time to bring your vision to life, we’re joined by our dedicated team of freelancers and casual staff, who work tirelessly to execute weddings and events seamlessly.
As a small but passionate team, we take on a limited number of weddings and events each year—this allows us to give each couple and client our full attention, ensuring every detail is just right.
