Welcome to Goodwater Ridge
A purpose built wedding & function venue like no other
Arches and stone wall construction, with fountain filled courtyards and gardens, a Mediterranean, white-washed chapel, 3 stone cabins and an historic styled accommodation wing of 4 large hotel style rooms, together create a small European village atmosphere with unique romantic photo backdrops at every turn. The large function room easily seats 90 and the adjoining atrium is perfect for pre-dinner or canape-style entertaining. With everything available in one location, the logistics of organising any event are simplified – everything can come to you. There is a commercial kitchen and bar facilities available on-site providing choice in catering options.
Situated on 100 acres of rural pasture and remnant rainforest, Goodwater Ridge is in the Sunshine Coast hinterland near the popular tourist towns of Maleny and Montville, and just 5 minutes from the historic township of Landsborough providing easy access to the Qld Rail network. Approximately an hour and a half’s drive north of Brisbane CBD, the site also offers extensive onsite parking for cars and buses. An ideal setting perfect for any special event be it weddings, conferences and training events, corporate occasions and product launches, or a gathering of extended family and friends for any of life’s milestones.

VENUE FEATURES
THE CHAPEL
Fully enclosed, European-style chapel with timber pew seating for up
to 40 people.
Polished concrete floors, a high ceiling, rendered walls, timber entry
doors and an abundance of windows to let in the natural light. The
perfect blank canvas for florals and styling to bring your dream
ceremony to life.
THE RUINS
European inspired stone ruins/courtyard with a concrete floor and
built in fire place.
Northern vistas through the arches to the beautiful hinterland
beyond.
The perfect space to entertain your guests for sunset canape/cocktail
hour, and another perfect blank canvas to style to your liking.
THE FUNTION CENTRE
Ample room to seat up to 90 people with in-floor heating.
Adjacent indoor atrium with French doors that look over the ruins
and hinterland views – perfect for an indoor cocktail/canapes option,
or lounge seating and relaxation area for you and your guests during
reception.
Commercial kitchen with fridges and freezers for caterers to use for
the duration of the event.
Indoor bathrooms.
Adjacent billiard room / lounge area for guests to relax.

*Budgets are based on a minimum spend of $3,500 for Styling and Furniture, and $3,500 for florals. These budgets can be increased/customised to suit your individual vision.

F L O R A L S
$3,500 budget for:
– Your choice of bespoke florals for bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony arbours/pillars/arrangements,
reception centrepieces and floral styling, cocktail florals etc.
– Includes 1 hour complimentary onsite meeting to discuss floral vision.
– Includes complimentary delivery of all florals to Goodwater Ridge.
3 Day Package
*EXCLUSIONS: Catering, RSA qualified professional bar staff, furniture hire for reception.
Available from August 2023, Fri – Sun or Tues – Thurs.
Maximum 90 people.
Included in your 3 Day Package:
– Venue Manager and on-site Wedding Planner including
on the day coordination.
– 3 day / 2 nights exclusive access to venue and
accommodation, including the chapel, function centre and ruins.
– Accommodation for 16 people.
– Saturday – 10pm curfew (all guests off premises by 11pm)
– Mid-week – 9pm curfew (all guests off premises by 10pm)
– Rubbish removal

Wedding Only Package

Off peak December to February and July – by particular
arrangement. Maximum 90 people.
What is included in your Wedding Only package?
– Exclusive use of the facility including the chapel, ruin, function room and grounds for the day (no access to the accommodation areas).
– Access to the facility from 10am. All activities to cease by 8pm with site lock-up at 9pm.
– Venue Manager and on-site Wedding Planner including on-the-day coordination.
– Countless photo opportunities throughout the property including formal gardens, water features, stones walls and hinterland views.
– Guest’s use of the facility between the ceremony and reception.
– 1 hour on-site meeting with your Planner and Venue Manager to organise wedding details.
– Complimentary consultation with Maple Weddings & Events and Fiesta Flora to discuss your styling /hire and floral requirements. Styling/hire packages available from $3,500. Floral packages available from $3,500.

Ceremony Only

– Exclusive use of the chapel, ruin or a bush/rural setting for the ceremony (pre-specified).
– Pew seating in the Chapel for 40.
– Access to bathrooms in the main function centre.
– Wedding co-ordinator on-site to assist with the running of your event.
– Complimentary consultations with Maple Weddings & Events and Fiesta Flora to discuss any styling / hire and floral requirements.

Mini Ceremony

Available from February 2023, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

– Access to bathrooms in the main function centre.
– Wedding coordinator on-site to assist with the running of your intimate event.
– Pew seating in chapel for up to people.
– Complimentary consultation with Fiesta Flora and Maple Weddings & Events to discuss any floral or styling/hire requirements.
– Endless photo opportunities across our European inspired village and grounds.
